Keeping visitors and staff safe

Our priority is the health and safety of our visitors, stallholders and other staff at the market. This year that includes monitoring the latest Covid-19 information and working with public health and other partners to ensure that Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market is an event that everyone can enjoy safely. We have reduced the number of stalls to create more space and will be putting additional Covid-19 measures in place.

Please check back for the most up-to-date information before visiting.

Let us entertain you

Get in the mood for Christmas with our free live music programme on the stage in the heart of Victoria Square. Visitors’ favourite musicians from Germany and Birmingham will be back with lunchtime and evening music sessions Monday to Friday and performances all day Saturday and Sunday. Details of the stage programme will be available nearer the time.

Sale of Alcohol / Challenge 25

Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market is committed to selling alcohol responsibly. As part of that commitment we operate Challenge 25 for the sale of alcoholic and certain non-alcoholic drinks.

If you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked to prove that you are aged 18 or over when you buy age restricted products.
